NBC has a Beijing Olympic site that gives the visitor the opportunity to meet some of the athletes and to learn more about the different sporting events. I really like how they pimped Olympic Beach Volleyball. They did a feature on the different hand signals used to communicate between the players. I must say that when I look at these pictures I’m not checking out any signals. All I see are the nice, smooth, tan asses. Great job NBC, you got me. Forget the Dream Team, I’m watching nothing but Olympic Volleyball this summer.

Ladies Night at the ESPYS

ESPN is doing a smart thing here. I’ve never really been into a “sports awards show” like the ESPYS. Seems silly to me to watch an Academy Award style show to honor athletes. That’s what sporting events like the Super Bowl, World Series, and the Olympics are for. But when you gather hot talent like Hayden Panettiere and Adriana Lima to show up at these awards, I may just have to tune in.
