Check out these dress for dinner napkins. Now this is my kind of fashion. Functional and stylish, a double threat. Can’t you just imagine all the laughs and smiles these badboys would get at Thanksgiving? They’re sold out at the moment, but you can buy more here when they’re back in stock.
It’s been awhile since we’ve done one of these so here’s more of what you love- Photobombers! People or things in the background that ruin or enhance pictures. Big shot out to Brian W. for the first Photobomber picture. I think we may have to start a new rule that if two girls are kissing, NO ONE may photobomb the picture! You shouldn’t ruin a beautiful moment like that. It’s just not right.
Here is an impressive collection of things that look like Pac-Man. Either a.) These guys have a strange knack for spotting out this classic video game character or b.) A ‘Things That Look Like Mario’ list would have been way too short.
I like the concept: control video games by touching your partner’s body parts. The actual game seen here, not so much. I’d like to see where they take this idea in the next 5 years. Hopefully we can be playing Madden 2012 using these controls. You know… aim with the left boob, pass with the right… SCORE!
Heads still pounding, but I’m still posting. Here’s the improv group, Improv Everywere, doing another stellar performance on a subway train. They get a bunch of twins to mirror each other on the train while totally confusing other riders. Check out the video.
The dollar bill ring used to impress me. Shoot, it still does. Orudorumagi11’s DeviantArt page has a bunch of stuff that blew my mind. He makes most of this origami with a single dollar bill, from koi fish to toilet bowls, hammerhead sharks, and a stegosaurus. He even uses 3 bills to make a Millenium Falcon. Sick stuff. Unfortunately you can’t buy any of it and there are no instructions, but check out his entire gallery for more.
Remember this Transformers watch? The timepiece pops off and transforms into Optimus Prime. It also came in blue and white. This Thing is ill, kid. See what Transformers watches you can find on eBay here.
There has been a lot of hoping and waiting for these Nikes from Back To The Future II to be released. Finally, sneakerheads are getting their wish fulfilled, as Nike is releasing the Nike Hyperdunk in a colorway inspired by the shoes worn by Marty McFly in Back To The Future 2. These badboys are already selling for over $500 on eBay. Check out how much they’re currently going for here.
Awhile back, some young women in Ohio put up some real life Super Mario Bros Question Blocks and almost faced criminal charges. Since then, people have been making their own versions of these blocks, some even filled with green and red mushrooms, and other cardboard cut-out powerups. Check out Posterchild’s Blade Diary for more pictures and instructions on how to make your own.
