There’s something about a girl who can rock an instrument that gets my groove goin’.   It’s an automatic turn-on, like a British accent.

7. Acoustic Guitar. A classic instrument. We’ve seen these played these many times before, but it’s still sexy to see a chick with talent. This girl’s got it.

6. Electric Bass. If this girl added some gyrating to her performance, we would have placed her higher on the list. Still, it’s quite rare to see a girl playing the bass, so she gets some props.

5. Piano. Now this is a good example of how oomph can boost one’s sexiness. The girl (Sara Bareilles) has got that jones-in-her-bones, which gives her big bonus points. The way she’s really into the song makes me dig her even more.

4. Turntables. It’s hard to associate ’sexy’ with ’scratching and mixing’, but when you see a girl in her element, it makes all the difference in the world. This honeydip is definitely in the zone, and she knows what she’s doing. That’s hot.

3. Violin. This instrument wouldn’t have made the list if I didn’t see this video. The violin itself simply doesn’t get my mojo going. But again, the right attitude can change everything. The girl in this video knows how to work it, and that earns her a spot at number 3.

2. Drums: No matter which way you slice it, a female drummer is damn hot. Even if she’s only decent, she is probably a bad ass chick and a tiger in the sack. She might try to bite your head off when she’s done playing, but it’s probably worth it.

1. Electric Guitar: Remember all that mumbo jumbo about oomph and energy? This girl doesn’t do any of it.  She’s very chill, yet here she is at number 1. If a woman can put it down on the electric guitar AND she’s got the right look, that’s just not fair. Check, please.
