Kobe Bryant is Pimping the New Back to the Future Kicks
Sneaker Heads Rejoice! As we posted last week, Nike has released the shoes from Back to the Future Part II. They’re not releasing the actual shoe from the movie (sorry no power laces), but a pair “inspired” by the movie. They’re calledNike Dunk Supremes and they’re going for as much as $2000 on eBay. To help with the launch, Nike got Laker’s MVP and NBA Finals loser Kobe Bryant to show up, sign a few graphs, and pimp the new shoes. Kobe even came in the same DeLorean from the movie. Now if Kobe can figure out a way to take the DeLorean back in time and play with the Lakers, maybe they have a chance to beat the Celtics. Naw, even two Kobes on the same court doesn’t have enough heart.

I’m the one who drove Kobe in the DeLorean. I’m not even a basketball fan and he was awesome! A true gentleman.
The shoes… the shoes were fantastic. I wanted a pair so badly considering I own the time machine and drove Kobe to the event. My only regret was that they were so limited even I could not buy a pair that day.
So sad… but still… great shoe, great event and great guy, all around.
