Top 7 Underdog Movies

Everyone loves a good underdog movie. We love to root for the little guy to win and get the girl. I think that's mostly because I'm an ordinary person with nothing special going on in my life. That's why I'm writing this post. So, in the spirit of the NCAA Tournament, here is a list of the best underdog movies

7. Major League- Tell me you don't get hyped every time they play "Wild Thing" and out walks Charlie Sheen. It would of been more realistic if there was a hooker waiting for him at the mound.

6. Bad News Bears- I was amazed to hear kids cuss with grown ups when I first watched this movie. Afterwards my dad asked me to mow the lawn and I said "do it your damn self". My ass still has the impression of his belt.

5. Tin Cup- Besides Tiger Woods, this movie got me interested in golf. I went to my local 9 hole 3-par course and tried to shoot the course with just my 7-iron. Shot a 97 baby.

4. Rudy- I once had a soccer teammate that we nicknamed Rudy. He really sucked, but he tried hard. Coach said he should be an inspiration to the rest of us. We gave him an atomic wedgie and he never played soccer again.

3. Rocky- The workout montage scene really pumped me up when I was younger. I later went to my friend's house and his family had chickens. I tried to catch one and the little F#$% pecked me in the face. We later ate it.

2. Hoosiers- I love everything about this movie. So inspirational. The little school full of wide eyed underachievers, the old coach looking for redemption, and the drunk father looking to reconcile with his son. But alas we know it's just a fairy tale. A team with seven white kids beats a team filled with inner city black kids? Right...and the tooth fairy has big boobs.

1. Karate Kid- After I watched this movie I begged my mom to sign me up for karate. On my first day of class we had to choose a partner to spar with. Once we faced each other and our instructor said "fight" I pulled out my secret crane kick move. To my surprise my opponent was doing the crane kick too. We kicked each other in the foot and we both fell down screaming.
